The #RockCares team was looking for away to give back for the holiday season. We teamed up with the Salvation Army to adopt a family from the area. They sent us a family with a list of things they needed and a few presents they wanted for Christmas. The staff started going in on gifts to knock items off the list and contributing money. #BlackFriday Jillian and I braved the stores and bought a ton of items- as did Dina. Others ordered stuff online. We are still collecting grocery store gift cards so their house can be well stocked going into the New Year. In December we will finish collecting items/gift cards, some employees volunteered to wrap up our haul, and we will need the catering van to drive everything down to the Salvation Army. Christmas Eve the mom will stop in and pick up Christmas Day dinner provided by Rockefeller’s Grille. It’s a small way each of us can contribute to give back to someone in our community and by coming together we are able to make a big difference.
