Rock Cares is how we give back in the community. We don’t always stand on a ladder yelling what we’ve been up to but here are our recent givebacks:
In September we dropped off cupcakes to the nurses at Ohio Valley Hospital in celebration of #NationalEmergencyRoomNursesDay
In October we dropped off desserts to the EMTs, the Kennedy Volunteer Fire Department, and the Kennedy Township Police Department for #NationalFirstRespondersDay, giving them thanks.
Lastly, we spent October collecting cash donations from staff and customers for K & J Complete Woman, the proceeds will go to help a woman battling cancer get the products she needs that might not be covered by insurance.
Looking ahead, we are going to be teaming up with The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center to provide kids in foster care with Christmas gifts.
