Abby’s Last Day

Abby’s Last Day

Today is Abby’s last day of working with us at Rockefeller’s. She has been with us for just under 10 years. We watched her grow up. She was a baby when she started, (well some of us knew her as a baby since her mom worked here too). We celebrated her high school graduation, watched her graduate college, fall in love, get married, and grow into this amazing woman. We’ve supported each other through the ups and downs of life.

How do you measure 10 years? If this was Rent the musical, I would have compiled a video with a custom song listing the amount of minutes she’s worked here, how many times she answered the phone, rang in a take out, sat a table, cried in the bathroom, told me something tragic happened in one of the stalls of the bathroom, how many hosts she trained, and how many pies she helped Jen bake for holidays. I would know the exact number of concerts she went to  with Jillian, how many drinks she had on St. Patrick’s Day celebrations with everyone, road trips taken, workouts with Breanna, and times she and her brothers hit each other on company time.

Abby is missing from on of these pics. Just pretend Dominique is Abby.

Wednesday night talks in the office will not be the same, or mainly, it will go back to me and Jillian, the OG’s of the Wednesday night talks. Abby brought the spice.

We are excited for Abby’s new opportunity and we are so thankful for the great job she has done for Rockefeller’s for the last 10 years. She is reliable, organized, efficient, hilarious, patient, and plays well with others. We ask for our customers to be patient as the hosts step into the shifts Abby is vacating. They have big shoes to fill.

Abby, you will always be part of the RockFam, and we will always be a home base for you. Thank you for everything.
